Mr. Haque is a prolific poster of vacuous screeds on Medium. Actually, he perpetrates a worse sin than lacking useful insights or ideas. He does little more than denigrate western liberal democracies. However, his ‘arguments’ are nothing but sophism, filled with false reasoning, and no factual evidence to support anything he claims. That is the dangerous and malign style of demagogues and prophets of misinformation.
Because Haque is so prolific I wrote a long article which exposes his sophism, after delineating how free societies, and means of free expression like Medium, are vulnerable to exploitation by false or misleading information. One aspect of his technique I did not highlight well enough is his tendency to pit one segment of society against another, i.e. he adds to the existing divisiveness.
